Do I just go and ask the teacher if he or she can write a letter for me and give them a copy of my resume? Do I need to give them the common app teacher recommendation form? After they finish writing it what do I do? I heard my school makes teachers update it on the computer but I don't really know how it works? Do I get to see what they wrote?

I asked my teacher and he said he'd be glad to and just asked for the forms, but stupid as I am, I didn't ask waht forms and just left lol. What do I give him? I also do not know what schools I am applying to yet so I cant give him envelopes....

I'm really confused on what to do.

Also, how do I send my SAT scores and transcript? I'm going to be sending in my common app through mail to all my schools.

If you’re applying through mail, you should print off copies of the common app teacher rec form and give that to your teacher. Some want resumes, but some don’t - ask your teacher for that.

I’m not sure about your school computer thing.

If you want to see what they wrote, you can. It is highly recommended that you sign to waive your right to see it because colleges are suspicious if you are insecure about what teachers write about you. Some teachers will let you see it though which is fine, you just can’t demand to see it.

You must send your SAT scores officially which you can do on the collegeboard website for a $10 fee for each colleges. The transcript should be sent with your secondary school report which is filled out by your counselor.
