<p>What kind of envelope should I give to my teachers for sending my recommendations? For example, Stanford asks for 9x12 envelopes. Is this standard?</p>
<p>We used the 9x12 manilla envelopes. We pre-addressed & stamped them, and gave them to the teacher along with the form for them to fill out. We also included a small note card for them to drop in the mail at the same time so we knew when the rec.letters for posted. I hope this helps-</p>
