Teacher Recommendation Question

<p>Hi, I'm fairly new to College Confidential but I have a question about the teacher/counselor letter of recommendation...</p>

<p>The question is: when I invite teachers to send me a letter of recommendation, what happens?
Is it:
A. The teacher writes ONE generic letter and it goes to all the colleges I sign him/her up to on the common app
OR
B. The teacher has to write/upload a letter for each of the colleges I sign up for on the common app</p>

<p>the teacher only writes one generic letter for the commonapp. At least, that’s how my school does it</p>

<p>My school does it the first way. I’m only sending one school my common app… but i think you assign teachers to send each letter to each school separately.</p>
