teacher recommendation

is it alright to send the common application teacher recommendation form if I'm using the NU Online form for the rest of my application?

you can't use the common app and NU's online app, it's one or the other

I think you're wrong. I just found this on the NU website.

"Supplemental forms are available in pdf format for download. Northwestern also accepts supplemental forms provided by the Common Application."

at this address

http://www.ugadm.northwestern.edu/freshman/applying/

I know I asked for advice, but you've got to realize that it's better not to respond than to provide incorrect information.

People make mistakes..... no need to be rude about it....

Generally, I would think the rule of thumb would be to stick with the type of application you are using (NU with NU rec. or Common App with Common App rec).

Call NU directly and ask if you don't like the "incorrect" information that is given.

I thought Cinci was polite but, direct.

If saying "I think you're wrong" is rude then I have no problem sacrificing manners for progress.

Maybe it was wrong for me to ask this question in the first place when I could of looked up the information on the website or called myself, but many people do the same thing.

That's why posters should heed wittgenstein's maxim:

Whereof one cannot speak, thereof one must be silent

Rude was the wrong word to use.
Sorry I said it.

I actually emailed NU about this, because I had the same question, except I wanted to use the common app and the northwestern recommendation forms.

NU replied that "it would be best to have the recommendation forms be in alignment with the application that you are submitting."

what's the email address?
