So My common app is online, and all recommendations and school forms are online as well. except for one teacher. So she wants me to give her an addressed envelope, so for example for northwestern I use

Office of Undergraduate Admission
Northwestern University
P.O. Box 3060
Evanston, Illinois 60204-3060

and when she mails it they will magically put it together with my application? im sorry this is confusing.

^Yes they will. On the application sheet there will be room to put your name/address/high school/etc so they can put it in the appropriate file.

do the envelopes i give her have to be a certain size? is it okay for them to be 4 1/8 X 9 1/2? I know its not okay for stanford but if they don’t say is it ok?

You should still enter your teacher’s information on the School Forms page of your Common App Online - just don’t enter an email address for her. The system will present you with a PDF to download for her. Print out that PDF to give to your teacher to fill out. That PDF will come with your Common App Online ID automatically printed on it, making it much easier for Northwestern to correctly match it to your application.

This is so annoying, It doesn’t allow me to do that because it says

However, my school only sends school reports and stuff online, I know that teacher recommendations are all sent through mail. How do I get a printed one?
