Due to family and financial situations, my family moved to another state recently. This is my first year attending this school. I haven't made ANY relations to my teachers yet, still kind of breaking in.

I do have a deadline to meet, though, for my top school, which is before the end of Oct if I want to do ED. I also have to keep in mind there is the two weeks' notice rule.

Who would you suggest I give my teacher recommendations to?

if you can give recs from teachers from your old school who knew you well it would be fine, just send the school a email or something, you could also add your situation in the ‘additional info’… then it really should be fine :)

Like you, I also transferred high schools between my junior and senior years. I would have given both letters of rec to junior year teachers; however, one of the schools I’m applying to requires a letter from either a math or science teacher, and ironically I didn’t think either of my junior year math/science knew me as well as my current math teacher does. But I’m an exception – usually, senior year teachers really don’t know you that well, but my current HS is tiny haha.

I would email your previous teachers - they know how important college recommendations are so I’m sure they will happily write you one. Just make sure to keep in touch and check up on them, since you won’t be able to simply drop by and remind them to finish your rec on time. (:
