Teacher recommendations (redundant, I know)

<p>There are several universities that I'm applying to who don't require teacher recommendation letters, but I'm thinking of sending one anyways (unless that seems slightly arrogant?? I don't know, I just want to make sure I get in). Which form would I get my teacher to use? The Common Application form? Or what?</p>

<p>If they don't require a rec, e.g., some state schools just use SAT and GPA for basic admit, you need to find out if they have a sup rec you can submit. For the most part give them exactly what they request. Additional stuff does not always help.</p>
