teacher recommender

I've looked at the recommendation forms, and I just want to double check: we are allowed to have teachers from 10th grade send a recommendation, right?

Yup, though you should try to find someone who taught you in a more advanced class, i.e. more recently, if at all possible.

Sorry to thread-jack, but I was wondering what all should be on the front of the envelope that the recommendations will be sent in. Is it just the address? Or should we also put our name and whether we are applying EA or RD?

The reason I ask is I know Stanford offered printable stickers to place on the front of the envelopes with all the information needed, and the UncommonApp site seems to be a bit vague as to what all goes on the rec envelopes.

Thanks

When it comes to applications, Stanford has a lot more rules than U Chicago. Just write the address and they will figure it out.

And if they don't they'll let you know.

Yeah, I did get my calc bc teacher from last year for the math/sci recommendation. But my English teacher from last year left midway through the year because she had a baby, and I just never really "clicked" with my ap us history teacher (not a fan of history, or his lectures, lol).
