<p>What are the merits of giving the teacher a list of your activities? Would it significantly boost the application?</p>
<p>Not really–mostly you want your teacher to focus on what he/she knows about you. It might be a good idea to give the counselor who does your general rec. a list–or a teacher who doesn’t know you that well. My kid had the same teachers in seventh and eight grade, so he didn’t give them any extra stuff.</p>
