Teacher Recs--Online and mail?

Hi guys.

I intended to submit my teacher recs by mail, and provided my 3 recommenders with stamped envelopes, which they mailed complete with great letters last week. However, when I added them as recommenderes on the common app website, they all re-submitted their letters electronically when they got the email. I am really frustrated now, since the school will now be receiving two copies of my recs, if the adcom even decides to consider my paper recs (since they all neglected to mail the additional paper forms!) >:( My question is, will the double copies upset my chances of admission? It's a pretty silly question, I know; but the last thing I want to do is annoy my admissions officer.

Of course not. It would be really unfair if you’re held responsible for how well your teachers finished their tasks. Some teachers send in their stuffs late, some counselors have less experience with the process. You only control whatever it is that you have control over.
