All the colleges im applying on common app require 1 teacher rec. I am really confused on how the teachers are able to submit a rec online? the other universities im applying to require their recs mailed in an envelope. How do I go about this? reallly confused!!</p>
<p>If you’re applying via the commonapp, you will need two teacher recommendations and one guidance counselor recommendation. To have them apply online, first ask them if they feel comfortable writing you a rec. If so, provide a cover letter and perhaps a resume. Then, go to commonapp.org and submit that teacher’s name under “school forms” along with their e-mail. They will receive an e-mail which will give them all the info they need to apply online. If universities want the rec in the mail, do the same first step, but provide an envelope to each school that you want the teacher to send their rec to, along with a stamp. Less confused?</p>
