<p>ideally, you give your teacher a stamped envelope addressed to MIT admissions office. They fill it by hand and send it. You should not send it.</p>
<p>^some teachers allow the students to send the letters. I don’t think it makes a difference who sends it as long as it gets to MIT in one piece.</p>
<p>Your teachers can fill out the form by hand or type it.</p>
<p>It doesn’t matter who sends the letter.</p>
