i just realized my teacher wrote "letter or recommendation" instead of "letter of recommendation". stupid to worry about, i know, but it is the very first thing you read. these have to be at the University of Michigan by wednesday, should i wait until monday to send it so she can change it? or will it actually matter?

i think you should just send it in.

but, how do you know what the rec says?

well i gave my teacher all the envelopes and stuff but she didn't put the recommendation inside haha. so i read it.

one of my teachers wrote she instead of he near the end of the rec. i dont think it matters

cool, thanks. i freak out about dumb stuff.

One of ds's teachers put an "s" on the end of his last name at one point in the letter. It's a little weird, but in all the rest of the letter and at the top of the letter, and on the Common App teacher evaluation form -- in all those places his name is spelled right. It's just a typo. I'm sure it doesn't matter in the least.

*Ds gave him the pre-addressed, stamped envelopes but the teacher wrote the letter, filled out the Common App form and handed it all back to him. Nothing folded or in the envelopes. Was interesting for ds to get to read. He didn't think he'd be able to. Anyway, was a REALLY great rec. It was nice for him to get to see it.

My counselor spelled recommendation wrong. She added a v in there somewhere.

^a v? thats odd.
