Teachers' recs arriving before application?

<p>I'm still revising my essays and one of my teachers is sending in his rec letter for me by the end of this week. Will the colleges keep them until I get my application in (I'm doing reg decision for all: Georgetown, UTD, Austin College, Harvard, Columbia, Rice, Barnard, UChicago).</p>

<p>I'm pretty sure they're not going to throw out your rec until they actually get around to evaluating your application after the due date.</p>
