Hey guys,

Any thoughts on this? Perhaps certain Haas class you should take during the fall or spring? Thanks for the input!

Hey guys,

Any thoughts on this? Perhaps certain Haas class you should take during the fall or spring? Thanks for the input!

bump???

What year are you? What is your major? What do you want to do in the future?

For starters, try to get through the core classes if you are a business major.

I’d like to know as well.

You have to give us some more color about what you want to do in business so we can help you.

For marketing 106, both classes are pretty similar but you are better off waiting to take it in the spring with wilton rather than robinson.

cnat, are you doing marketing?

hmm…can you give us a breakdown of all the core classes? :D

should I take ugba 107 or 100 my first semester? I heard ugba 100 was a lot more work than 2 units and the grading is harsh…

im in 107 w/ ross this semester, and it’s been all good. + next semester he’ll be teaching in haas, so at least he won’t whine about having to be in leconte xP

Not doing marketing but enjoyed 106 a lot more than I thought. I feel a lot of the learning and thinking was done in section. I feel marketing is too complex of a subject to be learned through overarching principles and textbooks (hence lecture not being especially useful).

As for as 100/107, I would take 100 first because its more useful and applicable in your other classes/endeavors/spring recruiting.

For 105 (ob), I’ve heard good things about Kass. I took it with Scroth and enjoyed it. She teaches the section also.

107 is a pretty big class…would you say that it’s fine to Phase 2 (as an incoming Haas junior)

There will be plenty of room in 107 (I wasn’t even a haas major yet and I was able to get in by P2’ing)

on the same note, I can phase II ugba 101a right? there’s 3 different lectures for it…

@olay: Is one prof better than the other for 101a?

@catalysis: P-II’ing 107 is a good idea
