<p>Okay so I'm a freshman at a JC and I am transferring as a sophomore to some privates. My problem is that they require me to send my college transcript. One of the schools I am applying to has a deadline very soon and I myself do not know my official grades. My school has an online portal where you can check your grades and the Fall grades won't be posted until late January (past my first two school's deadline).
I was looking at the purchase transcript option on my schools website and you have two options. 1. Send transcript immediately...2. Send transcripts when final fall grades are posted (late January)...I am wondering if the first option includes your fall grades even though you don't know them or if they only include grades prior to the fall semester (like summer grades). You see, I have taken a summer course and I am worried if I choose the first option that the school will only receive my 0.5 units from Summer and then I get rejected. On the other hand, if I choose option 2 I may get rejected just because the transcript gets sent so late.
Do you know what I mean?
If it makes things clearer, in my opinion I think the 2nd option is for people who don't want to send in their grades unless they see them first while the first option sends them in regardless. I don't care what my grades were I just want to send them in but I don't know if my fall units will be included if I "send transcript now."</p>
<p>Find out which office at your school handles transcripts and go talk to them. If it’s confirmed that your school will not, in fact, post grades until late January, then call the schools you’re applying to, explain your situation, and see what they want you to do.</p>
