So, we've discussed music. What about TV shows, what does everyone like?

Friends is probably my biggest favourite, but I'm also a huge fan of Lost and Stargate SG-1. Love The Office (the US version, I'm not keen on the British one)

I also watch a lot of cookery programs and things about houses.. like where people are looking at houses they want to buy. We have another show here called Grand Designs which follows people as they manage a self-build and make all sorts of cool houses.

So.. what about you guys?

My favorite TV shows, not in any order:

Heroes, Scrubs, Family Guy, Supernatural, American Dad, The Simpsons, Prison Break and 3rd Rock from the Sun.

I don’t really watch TV. I watch the above shows on the internet and I watch a lot of movies instead.

League of Gentlemen + Goodness Gracious Me (Brit. series)

Arrested Development, 30 Rock, Early to Mid series Office…um…

That’s about it actually. (and I too watch them only occasionally online).

Skins would’ve been on there, but season 3 is bound to be stupid, and I didn’t actually enjoy season 2 that much. Too over the top for me to suspend my disbelief.

Mythbusters, House, and Scrubs…and Top Gear (!!!)

I don’t really watch very much tv, except for short bits of top gear on their website.

I notice none of us are really into TV programming…

YESSSSS @ ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT!! It never aired on TV here except for the odd episode at about 3am so nobody watched it but I’m SO glad one of my American friends introduced me to it… so so funny.

I agree about Skins as well. I saw a couple of episodes of season 1 and it was OK but I think they try too hard to make it edgy.

nothing beats friends  or maybe it does. I don’t know, it’s the only series I’ve really watched  but it’s hilarious

^ Yes, many many many things beat Friends lol.

Including: House, Monk, Mad Men, and Entourage.

My top TV shows (now THIS is a subject I want to get into!):

Lost, The Office, Gilmore Girls (but mostly the first 3 seasons), Dead Like Me, 30 Rock, Law & Order SVU, Judging Amy. I would say that’s probably in order.

HOUSE—best show on television, Gossip Girl (actually a good show), Samantha Who, Fringe

Friends!!

I’m a sucker for Grey’s Anatomy, too. :)

sev: I totally agree! Friends is the best show out there, I actually watched all ten seasons online. I also love Jeopardy (hahaha, T-dog’s my homie) and I admittedly watch Desperate Housewives because my entire family watches it every Sunday night… it’s sort of a tradition?
Otherwise, I don’t watch much.
Has anyone ever watched Keeping Up Appearances on PBS? With that woman Hyacinth? It’s pretty beast.

Skins
The Office
30 Rock
Curb Your Enthusiasm
Seinfeld

oh, and for moral depravity, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia

The Office
24

Where to begin? GILMORE GIRLS-all 7 seasons in DVD!, Friends, One Tree Hill, House, 24, Desperate Housewives, Gossip Girl, The Office, What I Like About You (i love the reruns on ABC Family!), Seinfeld, MATLOCK-since I was like 9, the Cash Cab (i know, i know), and of course Saturday Night Live.

By glancing at my list, you can tell my favorite invention is TiVo lol. ;)

seinfeld, monk, psych
project runway& gossip girl are guilty pleasures

Top List

Fringe *****
The Office *****
Lost ****
CSI: Miami ***
CSI: LV **
CSI: NY **
Mythbusters ****
Man vrs. Wild **
All those food travel shows *

I don’t usually get to watch all of these, but when they’re on and I have time, I like:

House
Friends
Will & Grace
The Simpsons
Family Guy
Seinfeld
Saturday Night Live

I used to be addicted to Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, but honestly, the episodes have gotten so terrible that now I have officially lost all interest.

The Simpsons
King of the Hill
Futurama

Arrested Development
30 Rock
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia
