Alright, I've been watching insane amounts of Six Feet Under. I love it, but I want something a little less morbid as well. Do you guys have any suggestions for some good shows to download (uh... legally of course...)? I'd prefer stuff that you can't watch on basic cable, because I can watch that anytime. But I'm open to any suggestions.

Fat Actress

Is it reality? I hate reality tv.

No. It's a comedy.

Curb your enthusiam.

I second Curb Your Enthusiam and suggest The Office.

The british one? Because I've seen all of that one... pure genius. I've seen all of the british coupling as well. Also most of monty python's flying circus.

Yeah its so good. I get English tv here so I end up watching alot of their shows, much better than the German ones.

Okay i've begun downloading season one of curb your enthusiasm. I hope it doesn't slow down my season 3 download of six feet under.

oh scarletleavy i'm using a quote from the office on my application. it's from the christmas special thing.

"You need three things to have a good life. [The third is] to make a difference. And it was always that third one that stressed me, to make a difference. And I realised I do. Everyday, we all do. It's how we interact, with our fellow man" David

I dunno... that just got to me. I think it was because of his character. The way he said it... I dunno... I was almost in tears.

That's so cool you used it in your essay. So many people are obsessed with the Office at my school, its great. Sometimes in English we get off topic and start talking about it.

I remember that episode well. :)

I didn't use it in my essay actually. The app asked for my favorite quote, and I had just seen that episode so it was fresh. I thought about looking for a quote that was more well-known, but I decided that wouldn't be true to myself because I can't find meaning in a quote when I'm looking for it. The Office quote was there, and it had an impact. Does that make sense? I wish I had someone to talk with about it... People at my school don't even know what the American version of the Office is.

Yeah it makes sense. That's still really cool that you got to use it. It meant something to you, not some good sounding quote from a quote book.

Haha. Almost no one in America has heard of it- at least from the people I know. It's a shame.
