Tele-BEARS date for graduating senior...

Phase I: October 21 - November 8, Phase II: November 12 - January 12

My Phase one is on October 24 and my Phase II is on November 18.

Isn't my Phase II a bit late? I'm graduating next semester, impacted major (psychology), 113 units as of this Fall... I can't sign up for anything other than my major classes for Phase I because it's so impacted, so a late Phase II date really screws me over...

Novemeber 12-17 can't ALL be veterans, students with disabilities, etc, can they? Are many seniors going before me, or is my date fairly standard for a graduating senior? I thought by my last semester I'd be within the first few days for both Phase I and Phase II...

I’ve got a bit more credit than you (114 completed, 14 IP) and my dates are Oct 22 and Nov 13… I’d imagine it’s mostly seniors with dates before yours, but it’s hard to tell. Yours are still pretty early, honestly… I mean, 3rd day during phase 1, and 7th during phase 2 (which spans 2 months)? It could be much, much worse than that. But your dates look pretty normal.

My Phase I date doesn’t concern me too much… I’m just annoyed with my Phase II date. If loads of other seniors register around the same dates as me it’s fine, I was just worried that most seniors are on Nov 12-14 or whatever for Phase II and any seats for non-majors in smaller classes might fill up. I know it could definitely be worse, but for a senior? Well, if it looks normal, I guess I’ll just hope for the best… Thanks.

“Novemeber 12-17 can’t ALL be veterans, students with disabilities, etc, can they?”

It is also filled with Regents’ and Chancellor’s Scholars of all grade levels.

Sorry to hear about what must feel like a bad reg date. But everyone with a reg date before you won’t be wanting the same 4 classes as you, so hopefully you’ll still get what you need.

Note that telebears appointments are MUCH more spread out for Phase II than for Phase I. In my experience, 6 days after the start of Phase II is roughly equivalent to 3 days after the start of Phase I, in terms of how many students are ahead of you. It is nothing to worry about.

^agree with singh2010

Phase I spans 3 weeks and Phase II spans 2 month. And come on, your Telebears is on the 4th day for Phase I and 5th day for Phase II (excluding Saturday and Sunday as they are outside of the office hours). Don’t worry too much!
