Tell me about your bedroom lighting

@ChoatieMom - thanks for that link. I have been looking for nightstand lamps that have usb ports/chargers. Just makes life easier.

@BunsenBurner - very interesting product. I can see how that would be very useful in our guest bedroom/office - we have a light switch in that room next to the door, but it controls an outlet that is placed so awkwardly that we can’t really plug a lamp into it. Only gotcha is the price of that switch!

I like to have overhead light fixture(s) for cleaning, changing bed linens, retrieving things that roll under the bed, etc., so we have 4" wafer lights (flat LED recessed lights) in the corners plus a decorative overhead fixture in the center of the ceiling. The nightstands have matching lamps. There’s also a motion-sensor activated night light.

A previous house also had dim, warm LED strip lighting around the ceiling that was hidden by the crown molding. H wants to use something similar under the bed, preferably motion activated, to provide a little light for when he gets up at night.
