If your SAT II scores are the highlight of your application, then you should be worried. If everything else is good, then the SAT IIs won’t make much difference at all.

@ fireandrain, that sounds about right. but i never seem to hear of people getting into yale or princeton with a 600-range math sat so that’s why i was wondering if brown was more holistic than those two. i just hope i have something brown, yale, princeton, and cornell want! i’m really hoping my film ec’s stand out. but would brown particularly want a filmmaker? i mean, what are they looking for (besides athletic prowess)? passion and dedication in any field or particular ones?

@ savannahsimmons, my sat ii’s aren’t the highlight, fortunately. but like i said earlier, there are other things i’m worried about. 2130 sat so far (retaking but still scared), 3.7 (maybe 3.8 gpa, i need to check the most recent transcript), 5 out of 10 ap classes taken, and no big awards won either. i mean, i think that all that is pretty solid and not bad or anything (i hope), but it doesn’t stand out academically among other applicants to the ivies, obviously. i’m really banking on my ec’s, essays, and hopefully recommendations.
