for all class of 2010ers at NYU, tell us a bit how the first few days have been so far! how has it been different than you envisioned? any surprises?

well i got to my dorm around 7;45, and NO LINES! i was totally moved in in under 20 mins, which was kind of surprising after hearing about how it takes most people hours and hours of standing in line and all.

Tiring....

Brought my D to Weinstein yesterday. When we got there at 9AM it looked crazy and chaotic, but by 10AM we had everything up in her room. NYU did a great job organizing and being prepared for everyone. And the big plastic rolling laundry bins that they supply are perfect! It was raining but it didn't matter. Weinstein is awesome! The room is cute and larger than we expected. Private bath which was a little grubby looking but after an exhausting trip to BB&B we made it look great. We were happy for the A/C, and the food possibilities are endless. Liittle grocery store next dooor that rocks! What a perfect location....The longest line we waited in was for the NYU Card which took about 1/2 hour. Not too bad! We felt good when we left her last night.
