I'm doing a play for the critanal, so do I need to include line numbers along with Act and Scene number? I REALLY do not want to have to count lines.

wow, so I'm finally done with all of my essays.Yeah, that's right... after 2 straight days of writing, I'm finally finished. after I submitted them all, i felt this nagging feeling that they weren't intellectual enough, or quirky enough, or long enough... Gosh, i wish I waited a little longer now :(

Okay, so I've been avoiding this website until the application process was done, but I came here on a whim today and found that the recommendation and transcript were due the 15th? Why did they not put that on the instructions that were sent in the mail?! So just confirm for me, please, can I send in my transcript and recommendation in an envelope on the 22nd and then send the application and essays online?

Also, my teacher had the letter delivered to me on Friday at the end of the day, and I realized when I got home that he sealed it, but signed the front instead of the flap. From that, it doesn't seem like he read the instructions carefully, so he probably didn't enclose a copy either. I won't be able to see him before sending this in, so am I automatically disqualified or something?

Please help calm my fears!

im trying to type out my application because of my terrible handwriting, but im technologically challenged on pdfs. does anyone know how to print out a typed application without guessing where the lines on the form are?

also what does the "academic areas of interest" mean on part 1 of the application? is that future studies in college or more of favorite school subjects/classes?

i dont know how to alter the pdf so that it'll work with me, either. i just handwrote it... my adobe messed the application all up. lol

and relax, i doubt TASP would disqualify you for that ...
but by telling you to relax, i guess i'm being sort of a hypocrite... with the whole OCD thing going on here, anyway.

mc1600 - i was wondering how to type on it also. if you figure it out, could you please share how? i'm trying but i'm afraid i have no tech smarts...

ok, i think i'm just going to handwrite mine too.

one more question - if your school transcript does not include your SAT score, can/should you just put it in at the back of the application packet?

^i thought about sending in my ACT score too, but i decided against it. i thought it might look like i'm forcing crap onto them.. especially when this is supossed to be an admissions process based largely upon the essays.

how the hell are you guys writing your future plans essay? mine is kinda awkward LOL.

i know, i dont want it to seem like show off-y

aghhh the future plans and conflict essays are making me so madddd. i dont know what to write.

and we have literally one day.

^ future plans? only essay i've really finished. :P

wrote mine's informally. talked about what i want to do for a career, talked about what my parents wanted me to do, mentioned a bit on how our interests differed and how education plans were different. to me, it sounds a bit unorganized but i put as much of my voice as possible into it.

my conflict essay will be crap. dunno what to write about; scrapped the family conflict idea. but now i'm stuck. knowing me i may end up writing about my conflict over whether i should drink coffee or hot chocolate. -.-;

i still have the future plans and the problem in a field one. i don't know how to address these... i have like a vague idea here and there but yeah. ARGHH.

my critnal essay came out in like an hour. LOL i wish the other ones were like that :(

and yeah we have a day :/ well i basically just have today. i have SO MUCH SCHOOL CRAP to do rofllll.

LOL NELTHARION. maybe you should write your conflict essay on how you are having a conflict writing the essay itself :p

thanks for the help btw

ahhh. my conflict essay is crap.

haha yeah. coffe vs. hot choclate is probably the biggest conflict i've dealt with. or maybe diet coke vs. regular.
maybe diet coke vs. regular.
that one is really deep :o

^ true dat. mature resolution: whichever one's closer.

for coffee vs. hot chocolate, it'd have to be sweet tea. ^^;

ahahhaaha.

i like the "mature resolution"
in that sense, i guess i'm very mature in my life.

anyways - i hate how i keep looking at tasp threads rather than writing my essays

aaaah my essay #2 is like 2 pages and a half. i hope fingers crossed that the TASP readers...errr not notice
