2 down. 2 to go.

Oh no, Vince. TA sent out a newsletter to us alumni that says that if any essays are below 1,000 words, the applicant is automatically disqualified.

Kidding.

Totally kidding.

Good luck y’all!

okay so. i left number of students in my junior class and class rank blank because my guidance counselor didn’t have that information…i decided to ask another counselor today, and she was able to give me the information. should i email TA telling them this? or should i leave it as it is?

I’d email them. It can’t hurt.

I’m pretty sure it says on the application you can approximate class ranking and class size.

Also, a little less than 12 hours are left.
For those of you who haven’t submitted: Keep working kiddies, don’t give up hope. Last minute essay writers do get in!

For those who have submitted their application:
Good luck, the next month and a half will be the longest. You’ve done all you can now, just sit back, relax and enjoy the ride.

i’ll email them

what’s 11:59pm pacific in eastern time?

estoy deprimido
must still write critical analysis
and rewrite wmut essay…
showed it to teacher because of bias
they said it was too against America
so depressed…

There’s no such essay.

sorry wmut is just a stupid acronym i made up. very stupid.
sorry.

How long are people’s seminar ranking essays? Mine’s just 344 words so I’m wondering if I should be more detailed.

Does it matter? Does it play a role in the admissions process?

Mine is a little longer.

^kameron, I think you’re fine. I seriously doubt they’ll base your acceptance or rejection on how long your ranking essay was. It says to be succinct.

All my essays are on the really long side, except the seminar one. It’s what it is…let’s not worry about trivial things like word count or even topic choice. Mine certainly weren’t the best or anything, but it’s what I could’ve done.

Gah. Still need to finish my critical analysis.

Arggh my problem and my crit analysis are both all over the place. I only like 2/5 essays I written so far. (my conflict and future plans)… and I’m running out of time.

This is just speculation, but do you think TASP puts more weight into certain essays? Like the crit analysis is more important than the future plans? For some reason I kind of get that feeling…

I really, really didn’t think writing all these essays and going through the respective drafts would take so long. I should have started, way, way, way, WAY earlier.

Fudge.

Procrastination is a very bad thing :)

haha. it’s okay. i took today off from school to work on my essays.

Glad to see other people still aren’t done either. :)

Is it okay if I write my conflict essay on being a cynical person? Would they look upon this badly?

Any conflict essay, as long as it fulfills the prompt, should be fine. Don’t be afraid to admit flaws.
