Hi I have a question about temple admissions: So I got all my application materials completed October 16th but I messed up and didn’t choose the EA and instead I’m in rolling admissions. Will that put me at a disadvantage to be accepted? Also when should I expect to hear my decision, is it gonna be after all the EA applicants get their decision first or will I get a quicker response since I applied earlier even if its rolling? Thanks!
My D applied rolling to Temple but it closer to December. She found out in March that she was accepted. You could call or email admissions if you want to change your application to EA and they might be able to do that for you. Emailing might be better because students answer the phones and it’s hard to get through to someone in charge.
I doubt they will change it now since the early action deadline has passed. If you called prior to the early action deadline, you would have had better luck.
@veehee @jnkam24 thanks for the help guys, but now I’m wondering if temple receives a lot of EA applications or if the majority are the regular rolling applications? I’m trying to see if I still have a strong shot at being accepted cause my SAT score is well above the 1220 average at Temple.
Thanks again!
I applied Rolling on October 30th and got accepted on November 7th. It depends on when you apply for rolling to be faster than EA. If you apply before the rush of EA applications (Nov. 1), then you should hear back fairly quickly.
You have a strong shot because I applied rolling and was awarded with the President’s Scholar Award, a full-tuition, merit-based scholarship.
