Temple University Tour question

So on the temple website it says they give an information session and campus tour. I was wondering if during that campus tour we get to see the residence halls or are we just walking around the campus. And if we do get to see the halls, how many of them…? THANK YOU.

one dorm. The dorm we saw was 1900/ however, we went on a prospective student, rather than admitted students tour so maybe that makes a difference. were you admitted as an honors student? if so, honors can likely make arrangements for you to see the honors dorm. also, also, during mandatory orientation, you stay in either Johnson or hardwick.

If you are admitted, the Experience Temple Day gives you an opportunity to tour all the available freshmen dorms. If you are admitted to Honors you will get to tour the Honors dorm which is 1300. I think the regular campus tour for prospective students gives a tour of Johnson and Hardwick and maybe Morgan Hall. Those are the dorms where the dining halls are.

I think we only saw Johnson & Hardwick on the prospective students tour. They cover a lot of ground in a short period of time.

When we were there, we did not do the “tour”. We went on our own. We were able to see Johnson & Hardwick, communal bathrooms, and Morgan Hall, 4 bed aprtment/suites.

The communal bathroom dorm wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be.

Morgan Hall, though incredibly nice, had shared bedrooms. We have been on a few tours where the suites were single bedrooms, so that surprised me. However, they were still very nice.
