I have been accepted to both colleges and in a few days I have to send in my deposit.
I got financial aid from both colleges though I got more financial aid from Temple. I like Pitt better though. I have no idea what major I want though I know I want nothing to do with the arts, education, or 99% of medicine. Obviously, I can’t afford college. No one can really. I have no idea what I’d do with all that debt and it makes me anxious when I think about paying for college and then not knowing what my major is.
There is about a $7,000 difference between the expenses of both college though that could definitely be less. I just don’t know what to do. Pick the more expensive college that I like and have more debt? Or pick the college I don’t like that is cheaper…
Also would it be a good or bad idea to defer one year and do community college?
I’m sorry that my post is all jumbled. I just don’t want to be sitting in the streets weighted down by debt. I feel like I don’t know anything and that I’m making a really risky decision here. Tell me your thoughts on Temple and Pitt and my situation please.
