Temple vs Rutgers: I'd like to hear some thoughts

Right now, I’m attending Community College for Mathematics. It’s my first year, but I’ve started to think about transferring, as I’ll have to fill out all my applications in a couple months. My school has special agreements with a bunch of local universities, so I have guaranteed admission to both Rutger’s University - Camden and Temple University (there’s more, but those are the main two I’m considering). My ultimate goal is mathematical research, so Rutger’s looks like the better option, but I’ll only be 17 years old when I start and I’d have to move out of my parents’ house if I went, which is something I just don’t think I’d be happy to do that young. Does anyone have experience with Temple’s or Rutger’s math programs? Would it be reasonable for me to think that I could get into a graduate degree program at a more “research-y” institution if I went to Temple?
