<p>I am an International transfer student and will be attending UIUC for fall. I found an apartment allowing with two roommates but the move-in date is on 21st august. I will reaching champaign on 18th aug itself. The illini union's room seems to be expensive at 98$ a night. Are there are any other cheaper options for me ? Any help is appreciated. </p>

<p>You can try to get your landlord to let you move in early (for a fee), or there are many other hotels in the champaign urbana area.</p>
<p>thanks for the your response. The landlord is not allowing me to move in early even for a fee. And it will be the first time I will be visiting champaign urbana area , so do you have any suggestions for a cheap hotel for me to stay ?</p>
<p>You've just gotta shop around. Try something like hotels.com. I've never had to stay at a hotel around here, so don't know enough to recommend one over another.</p>
