<p>I applied for housing a month after the priority deadline, and seeing as I haven't received my assignment yet, I'm pretty sure I'll end up in temporary housing. My question is, how quickly is alternative housing given to students in temporary housing? And while permanent housing is assigned, are initial preferences taken into account at all, or is that not possible?</p>

<p>Just received confirmation that I will, in fact, be living in temporary housing. Can anybody shed any light on this? Help is very much appreciated.</p>
<p>Call housing for, hopefully, a much more accurate answer, but it will depend on when openings occur, and who else in temporary housing applied before you.</p>
