Ten Seniors Receive Renaissance Scholar Prizes

<p>USC encourages study in different fields. The university has established the Sample Renaissance Scholar Prizes for those seniors who have distinguished themselves in at least two different fields of study and achieved a 3.5 GPA or higher. A faculty committee has selected the following ten honorees. Each will receive a $10,000 prize toward graduate school.</p>

Majored in neuroscience and sociology</p>

<p>Ava Casados
Majored in fine arts and psychology</p>

<p>Samantha Ancona
Majored in biosciences and oboe performance</p>

<p>Jeremy Tanner
Majored in neuroscience with two minors in natural sciences and business</p>

<p>Cara Bickers
Majored in biological sciences with a classics minor</p>

<p>Morgan Dameron
Majored in cinematic arts with a minor in English</p>

<p>Sarrah Shahawy
Majored in bioscience and French</p>

<p>Monish Ullal
Majored in bioscience and philosophy</p>

<p>Over 300 seniors in the 2011 graduating class are Renaissance Scholars this year, but these ten were selected to receive prizes.</p>
