Has anyone here taken Tennis for PE before?
If so, could you please share your experiences and how the class is structured (as in: are there warm up drills? locker rooms? ball-feeding machines or mostly person to person play? more rallying or competitive games?)?

I'm aware that there are different skill levels but I'm unsure of how to compare them. I'm thinking of taking Low Elementary because Elementary seems like it's for people new to the sport and Intermediate seems a little hard considering I haven't been regularly practicing at all. By the way, I played on my school's JV team.

Thanks!

Bump. Anyone please?

i'm taking low intermediate tennis this semester. the class begins with a quick warm up drill and then we practice newly learned stroke techniques/serving/volleying/etc. with a partner. we've played games during a couple of the most recent classes. we don't have a ball-feeding machine - just a large basket of balls to grab from when needed. a couple other notes are that you'll need to bring your own racket from home because the class doesn't have any rackets on reserve. also, the class only lasts about 35 minutes (i.e. 11:15-11:50 - provides time for changing and/or showering). from what you say about your experience, i think low intermediate would be the most suitable level as well. hope that helps!

i'm gonna own the cal tennis team in the butthole
