which one would be better in undergrad business and less competitive in general??btw, im an asian, male, international applicant who doesnt need financial aid, does that help?

Better job network for Wall St/Consulting: Tepper
Higher Median Salary: Tepper
Less competitive: Emory

Not needing aid helps for both, perhaps moreso for CMU.

wow..thanks!..glad to hear something encouraging, just i could increase my chances by ED and not applying for financial aid?? but wats the acceptance rate for ED tepper, if u happen to know?

Probably a bit higher than the 12-13% acceptance rate. I don't know if Tepper itself publishes that information.

It sounds like Tepper is overall better, why are they ranked so much lower on the businessweek list? Is that ranking BS?

Pretty much, just likes Forbes ranking is useless too. I remember when it first came out schools like brigham young were over Berkeley or Stern (I think it still is above several). If you believe then you need a serious look at the postgrad surveys.

This is why I always point to the postgrad surveys first as Tepper is tied 2nd with Stern/Ross/Wharton (its peers) with median and top hiring schools that are Ibanks or T5 Consulting groups. The best measure is the postgrad surveys and then probably Us News.
