Ok, so I applied to Bucknell RD, with 3.52 GPA and 1500/2220 SAT. Have a lot of good extracurriculars and got 800Math IIC, 770Chem, 740 US History on SAT II. For my midyear repots, i did terrible.

Just wondering, with these terrible midyear grades, are my chances of getting into Bucknell now impossible?

i'm pretty sure, but correct me if i'm wrong, that this is the Colgate page.

i meant colgate, applied to bucknell too

2 serious drops might make them question. So you really can either be accepted anyway (because you have strong credentials) or at least be put on waitlist. Is there a legitmate reason for full letter grade drops?

But don't let those grades to be the end of the world and I hope that you applied to some safeties :)

Keep it in perspective, how much does that really change your overall GPA and class rank? Colgate and Bucknell are not going to be rejecting that many 1500 SAT scorers.
