S will be applying as a business major for Fall 2018. Can current students, grads or parents share your experiences in terms of finding summer internships (and are/were they paid or unpaid) and ease of finding employment post grad? Are there many job fairs on campus (UGA wide or just for Terry students?), are jobs for companies throughout the country, or mostly concentrated in the southeast region?

My d interned ( paid) at JP Morgan in NYC after Junior year. She was offered a position but declined. She had post grad employment lined up early in the fall of senior year in NYC.

She was very pro active in her employment search. I know she had a couple of on campus interviews. It’s a few years ago and so I don’t recall all the specifics.

Thanks @Sally22! Can I ask what major? And did UGA or Terry help get the internship and jobs, or did your daughter find through other networks?
