Test center confusion

I have a problem. I registered (late) for the SAT on Thursday, Oct. 22 and I accidentally chose the wrong test center. I chose the test center near my boarding school, but I am going home a few days before the test date and staying for the weekend. It's too late to change the test center. As I would spend a lot more money and time traveling back to the test center I registered for and I really don't want to go all the way back.

I would like to test at the center near my home and turn in a stand-by test form, but I do not know if it will conflict with my registration for the other test center.

Can I cancel my previous registration? Will my scores be canceled if don't show up to the test center I originally registered for, even if I submit a stand-by form?

Thanks

you can call collegeboard or you might be able to do this online. I think the fee is 22 dollars for changing the test center, so you should do that.
