Test Scores not Received on Wolverine Access for ED

Hi just got my wolverine ID and logged in, everything was received but my ACT scores witch I send on the 30th, should I just wait it out, will this be a problem?

Thanks

I’d say that it’s a problem if you were planning to apply early action.
They need to receive your scores by the November 1st deadline in order for you to be considered for Early Action. Scores usually take a few weeks to arrive.
If you sent the scores October 30th, they wouldnt be received until after the deadline.

How were your ACT scores sent? This will be key…if you ordered them on-line on the 30th that might not mean they were available to UofM on the 1st. Typically it’s about a week for a normal ACT score transmittal and 2-4 days for a Priority transmittal. You said they were “sent” on the 30th, what do you mean?

Will they accept Priority?

If they were ordered Priority on the 30th it’s unlikely they met the 1st deadline but I’m not sure how speedy ACT really is - you’d have to check Wolverine Access to see the date. ACT says 2 days to process the order and a couple days for transmittal. My son ordered his ACT scores in the middle of the month and if I recall the time stamp on Wolverine Access was about a week or so later - but that was regular, not priority so 2-4 days “feels accurate.” All those “dates” are gone now from son’s wolverine access and he received an e-mail saying everything was delivered and he was being considered in the EA round so I can’t as him to go back and look at the actual dates…keep an eye on Wolverine Access to see if you ‘made’ the deadline is my best advice. It’s possible you’ll get an e-mail telling you.

How do you know if the materials were received? I don’t see anything when I log on.

My scores were were marked as recieved on the 5th. However I never got the e-mail saying I met the deadline…

As long as you post-marked/submitted your application before November 1st @ 11:59PM, you should be considered for Early Action, so long as they receive your ACT/SAT scores within 1-2 weeks. I’m pretty sure they’re lenient on the scores and such, just as long as you turned in your application in time.

^^I wouldn’t take money on that bet Rasen888. The website has in bold letters that test scores must be received by November 1 and a whole paragraph devoted to what means a complete application and that only complete applications make the EA. I hope for the last minute folks who didn’t quite make it there is some leniency, but I wouldn’t take money on the bet. They recently announced that those impacted by the storm who could not submit by the 1st, could request to be considered for EA on their common app and that those requests would be reviewed and a decision made. Worse case scenario is there aren’t any “gimmes” for late pieces of the app and then the application becomes part of the regular decision round which isn’t all bad.
