wustl's test score range for act is 31-34, does anyone know if this range is a superscored range? i know they do superscore your tests, but would their test score range reflect that? also does anyone know the weight wustl puts upon test scores?

that may depend on where you looked the 31-34 figure up… if it’s from Admissions, it probably includes superscores… although i suspect that for most people, their superscore isn’t any different from their regular score (mine wasn’t, anyway).

As far as weight goes, that’s not something that there’s really a definite answer for… Not so different from any comparable college, I think, in that a good score is definitely helpful to get you in the running, but either way it’s good to stand out to the AdComs through your extra-currics, essays, recommendations, etc

From their web site:

Test results from any of your high school years are acceptable, though we encourage senior-year testing. **Consideration will be given to the highest individual scores, whenever they occurred. **

Our older son, a current senior, requested a copy of his transcript for his various job interviews. His SATs were on his transcript, and, true to Wash U’s word, only his highest SAT scores were listed. He had submitted two sets, with his Verbal being the same on both, with his Math scores being 50 points apart. His writing scores were no where to be found on his transcript - keeping with Wash U’s policy of not considering writing. His scores were from the transition years - his first set was out of 1600, the second set was out of 2400.
