I sent my SATs and TOEFL about a month ago... but the status page said that they havent received it yet. All my school records are in but the lower section is all X's. How long does it take the test scores to get there? U of IL said they got mine like 10 days ago.

Also, at the TOEFL box, it says that Im waived from it (W in a box)... but they havent even gotten the SATs yet... and my reading is below 670... so how am I waived? Does it just mean that my TOEFL got there and its high enough? (109?)

im sure that 109 is high enough to be waived.
the reason they require toefl for international students is that they just want to know that u r english is fluent.

I got my TOEFL waived. I didn't have a reading score over 670 but had a writing score over 670 and that is why I got waived. Also international students who have been attending school in US for more than 2 years are waived from that exam.

Oh ok... so if ive been in prep school in the US for 4 years... they waived it... would they still look at it though? since i think my TOEFL looks way better than my SATs

same thing happened to me. i got 108 on toefl and sent it on october 30th.
about a week ago, the X mark ontoefl changed to W so i called them to ask what that means cause i got 630 on CR which is lower than 670. and apparently, if you have lived in us and attended high school in us for more than 2 years, they will just put W instead of waiting until they can find your toefl score report just to process your application. Does this make sense? i hope this helped you. so don't worry. my entire application is already forwarded, but toefl still says W so i think this doesn't matter. we are waived anyway.... kinda wasted my money... haha
