Test Scores

I was wondering say I am sending my ACT scores, which are much higher than my SAT scores. Do I still have to send my SAT scores in? Furthermore, the section I am applying to only requires one subject test. So can I just send in my best one?

Thank you.

I’m pretty sure Cornell does not allow score choice for normal SATs, but for subject tests I think you can use it (i.e. they don’t really care).

Yes IV is correct. Coenell does not participate in score shoice and requires all ACT/SAT scores be sent. good luck. They say they consider only the top scores from each section.

Ah thank you! So I will have to send in my SAT scores along with my ACT scores, but will they only take the highest?

And say I only want to send in my biology subject tests and not US history, would that be fine?

Thank you so much!

Technically, you don’t have to send the ACT and SAT because they require either or. Also, it is fine to send only your bio subject test, as long as you fulfill the requirements.

Thank you so much! I was wondering if I should retake. xD

Im not sure you don’t need to send all subject scores too. This is taken directly from an admissions faq.
“please note: Cornell does not participate in the College Boards #core Choice. If you are submitting the SAT Reasoning Test and the Subject Tests, please plan on sending all scores.”
so I would send all scores

i wish colleges would specifically say what they want and not just give us a half answer. i just sent everything. sent all my subject test scores, even in like history, even though i’m applying to CALS lol
