Anybody know why the college board doesn't create ap or sat subject tests for topics like Earth science or geology?

b/c those subjects suck.j/k.....it's probably b/c those subjects are not generally high school classes. i took earth science in 7th grade.

Because they're not core classes?

I could be wrong, but I believe Earth Science is a NY Regents required class.

...yeah, you're wrong, sorry. XD You need 2 science Regents for a NY Regents diploma, 3 for a Regents diploma with "advanced designation". Most people at my school do Bio, Chem, Physics.

To the OP: probably for the same reason they don't have AP gym.

Where I went it was Earth, Bio, Chem.
Another one I went to was Bio, Earth, Chem.

Physics afterwards if you wanted (same to chem...).

But yeah, it's different at each NY school.

Oh and don't they sort-of anyway?

I don't know much about AP Envi. but at one of my schools Earth Sci. (and bio) was a pre-req for it.
