Regents Question

So my friend just brought up a good point. All of the 8th graders in our school took Earth Science, and since its not taken in high school, she was wondering if it would count towards the Regents (or Regents w/honors) diploma. Does anyone happen to know? Thanks...

As long as you take the regents exam

Ok cool.. thanks!

You can take earth science in my high school as a sophomore. I didn't though, since they put all the honors kids into chemistry, so I just took the chem Regents instead of the earth science Regents.

Regents exams are boring. Math A-B is stupid. Thankfully they figured out that switching to it was a bad choice.

They're changing the math curriculum soon, aren't they?

They really should just call things algebra, geometry, trigonometry, etc. Makes life easier for everyone. :)

I kinda like having a mix of Algebra, trig, and geometry each year. However, they should go back to the Course I-III system with a regents each year instead of having Math A and B where it's 1.5 years of math per exam.

Yeah, seriously, 1.5 years? It's stupid. My friend who took math A in eighth grade had to take a whole semester of math A again because you could only start math B in the class math AB.

i got a 95 on the earth science regents a 97 in yhr class^_^
