Testmasters.... is it neccessary?

Hey I'm a current sophomore and I am thinking of taking Testmasters in the spring semester around May-ish. I was just wondering for all of you that took the course, was it helpful? I'm asking because $750 is a lot and even if I get 10 ppl to join, $650 is still a quite bit of money. What were some of the positive aspects of Testmasters that could be helpful to a person? Cuz I really want to do well on my SAT and PSAT so all types of help would be appreciated! :D

Sincerely,
ShinyHelloKitty :D

Positive things about Testmasters - good, funny teachers, up-to-date material, strategies that you do not find in books, it works. Negative things - class was far from where I lived, class met in the mornings on the weekends. Overall it helped my score few hundred points. I'm glad I did it as it helped me a bunch, but everyone's different. If cost is an issue, perhaps look at Princeton or Kaplan - they might be cheaper where you live.

I haven't taken this class, but usually classes aren't necessary. If you are a motivated student, self studying is much more efficient (and cost efficient :) )
