I have already bought the Barron's Math II and Physics. I found the Math II tests quite hard, but after looking through a few posts here, it seems that Barron's tests are harder than the real test.
A few questions:
1. Are the Physics tests harder than the real test?
2. Is it worth the money to buy Kaplan or PR books for either subject? I would prefer not to buy anything more, but I don't want to hurt my score either.
3. Are there any free tests online that I can take, that will give me a realist idea of how much to expect? How realistic are the SparkNotes tests? (for both Physics and Math)
4. Is the material in the Physics book enough to get 750+ as long as I have done well in 11th and 12th grade?

Edit:
I am aiming for an 800 in Math and 750 in Physics

I have heard that Barrons is difficult, but if you can do well on Barrons you will be well prepared for the test. My son used CB Bluebook and Kaplan for Math II and PR and Bluebook for Physics. I have heard that Sparknotes is easier than the real test. By the way, my son did well on Math II (770) but struggled with physics. This is a kid who is in his second year of IB Physics with nothing but A’s. He doesn’t have his SAT score back yet, but he is worried. Try a practice test and see how you do. I believe it requires a lot of prep.

Barron’s MATH, PHYSICS, CHEM r all harder than the real tests. Trust me cause i took the oct SAT2 math2,physics and chem and i used barron. But if you do well on Barron’s tests then you’d get 800s for the real tests for sure.
If you think Barron’s hard then you could start with PR. PR is more close to the real tests and the books explain much better than barrons do.
but i have to say this again, if u want 800s, then crack ur barrons math2, and physics
