I really really want to get accepted to Texas a&m, I have heard about how great the school is,but I know its mildly competitive.
My grades in high school have been terrible, I regret not working hard enough my freshman year. But I have raised my GPA up from a 3.4 to a current 3.6… I’m in the top 27% of my class right now. I am going to take a few AP courses senior year so Im sure it will boost my rank up to top 25% of my class. Im also striving to aim for a 30+ on the ACT. Do you think I can get in?
You will apply with your rank as of today. Is that 27 percent? If so, then you will go through holistic review and they will look at test scores (which you’ll want to get in the range they require for academic admits) and ECs, etc. They may offer you BlinnTeam or PSA. You should look at those programs to understand if that is something that interests you.
