Texas a&m or colorado school of mines

I was accepted as an engineering major to both universities.

I’ll be an out of state student (I’m from California) . Cant decide between these schools. Will be applying to ucsb and cal poly san Luis. Any advise about the university that will provide the most opportunities for graduate school or medical school.
Thanks

Make sure that you understand the entry requirements for the major at each school. FYI, engineering and premed are a difficult pair.

With a bachelors degree, the benefits are going to be about the same. You might as well save yourself $100,000 and stay in-state. It’s going to be your grades and test scores that are going to get you into graduate/medical school.

You are able to be full pay at these schools? Is pre med actually a thing or just a vague idea? Mines for premed? Have you looked into that?

The research that I have done, which can be misleading, says companies come the Colorado school of mines recruiting engineering students. Would you agree? Or any engineering graduate has job opportunities

Mines students are heavily recruited, but consider fit. Do you prefer a huge southern state school with big sports and frats or a smaller predominantly male tech school.
