Texas A&M Transfer Question

Currently enrolled at UH and seeking to move to A&M before the transfer deadline is over…

However, one thing stopped me.
I am seeking to enroll under Computer Engineering and love the track A&M has where it is joint CSE. I am currently in the Technology department at UH since I registered for CEET rather than CEEN.
It says under the A&M Engineering transfer page that I would have to complete two semesters worth of schoolwork at A&M before admittance into the Engineering program. Is this true? If I transfer into A&M from UH with my current degree will I have to complete TWO MORE years of schoolwork before being able to apply for the college of my dreams?

One more thing to add; I 3.85 GPA, I have taken as many Engineering classes as I could as a non-undergraduate here at UH : Calculus I, II ; ENGI 1100 ; University Physics I ; Chemistry 1331. All of these appropriately transfer according to A&M’s website.
