Hello, I applied to Texas A&M on August 5th, 2017. I’m in the top quarter of my high school class and I scored a 27 on the ACT. I am an Eagle Scout and I have hundreds of service hours from volunteering at a nursing home, my church, and various events to honor veterans. I enrolled in solely AP, honors, and dual credit courses.
I am also a varsity cross country athlete and a member of NHS and NEHS. I earned many awards for several science fair projects. In my essays, I stated I wanted to join the Corps of Cadets and I submitted solid letters of recommendation. Should I expect to be admitted?
You have a great ACT score. Higher than the average for A&M. I would say you have a pretty good chance! Especially since it’s corps of cadets. Good luck
Thanks! I hope so
I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure its against policy to give preferential admissions treatment towards those who choose the corp of cadets.
What major did you apply for?
I want to major in biology.
