Textbook Reservation Service

I foolhardily signed up for the textbook reservation service and now I'm regretting it. Does anyone know how I could reverse it? I can't really find anything on tritonlink. Is it possible to just not pick them up and then they won't charge my card? How does it work?

thanks in advance

Yea, i made that error too. Just email the bookstore, and leave your PID, first and last name and ask to be taken off the list then they should do it for ya

Can you just not show up? I signed up too, but I dont think I want to buy all the books from them because there certainly are cheaper sites.
If i just dont show up, or show up and tell them I dont want the books, will they force me to pay a fine or something?

just email them. here's the email: customer@bookstore.ucsd.edu

Would it be wise to cancel the service? would it be hard to get the books later on?

Thanks for the advice! I bought all my books for about half the regular price or less! Yay for bargain hunting! I recommend half.com for fellow hunters.

I hear that you don't have to get ALL the books from the reservation service. I think they have a box with all your books reserved for you, and then when you get there, you can pick and choose which ones you want.

Can anyone confirm this?

that's true.

i already had the calc book from a summer school class, so they just picked that one out of the box and sold me the rest.
