AP United States History : NEED GOOD TEXTBOOK and Reviewbooks I am using are AMSCO and Kaplan. Please suggest me anything else

AP Physics C E/M and Mechanics - Im scared about this since I have halliday but some say its good and some say its bad. Please provide me a book that has good examples and will get me a 5 on both mechanics and e/m.. if there are multiple books please provide them

AP Environmental Science - i heard its a really easy AP. I hope I can just use SMARTYPANTS guide to it and get a 5. Any other suggestions are good.

AP Micro/ Macro - Need good textbook(s) and hopefully a good reviewbook that explains well

AP Calculus - Need Textbook which has good examples and great practice ones that will get me a 5.

AP Psychology - why bother even typing. Psychology by David Myers 7th edition and barrons for review is what im using. Please let me know of any others if needed.

AP COMP SCI AB - Need reallly good textbook for this since im a beginner. Im thinking of using Fundamentals of Java for the A and AB exam 3rd edition but Im not sure if its good and easy enough to understand.

Please GIVE me good textbooks and reviewbooks for these.. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP

For AP US History, I've heard that AMSCO is really good; I used REA (to teach me the entire course in 3 weeks) and thought it was excellent.

Also, if anyone has suggestions for textbooks and reviewbooks for AP Comp. Gov, I would greatly appreciate it (how easy is this to self-study?).

Physics: Halliday should be enough. I use HRW for M right now (self-study), and it has good explanations and problems. If you really insist on another book though, Serway is also good (get an older edition, which IMO has clearer explanations)

Calculus - I finished differential calculus with Stewart; many insists that it's confusing, but I found it pretty clear, and some of the problems are quite interesting. I'd suggest you to read an excerpt before deciding to buy it.

by the way.. im not taking them.. im actually gonna self study them except for physics C and ap calculus.. but i still need the good textbooks though..

thx for ur help UNEPgirl and samuelc

get an older edition meaning a recent one or an actual older one?

Macro/Micro: The online course I did with CTD had me use Economics Today by Miller. But you can't go wrong with any of the well known college Econ textbooks, including Miller, Mankiw, McConnell-Brue, etc. For a review book I used Princeton Review, and it is really good for Micro, but I'd heard that it's not as great for Macro (and the Macro section is a lot shorter than the Micro). I used another college macroecon study prep book by Barrons to supplement for Macro so I was prepared for the test anyway.
And if you want to be super-prepared or are just really interested in the material, these are really good workbooks:
Advanced Placement Economics: Microeconomics: Student Activities
Advanced Placement Economics: Macroeconomics: Student Activities
Advanced Placement Economics: Teacher Resource Manual (answer book to the above)

Allright. Let me get this straight. Correct me if I am wrong or you have any suggestions.

AP UNITED STATES HISTORY

Textbook: The American Pageant : A history of the republic 12th Edition
ReviewBooks: AMSCO, REA and some have suggested Kaplan as well.

AP MICROECONOMICS/MACROECONOMICS

Textbook: Mankiw Principles of Economics (Is this book good for BOTH micro and macro or just for macro or just for micro)
Reviewbooks: Barrons(Macro), PR for Micro.

AP CALCULUS

Textbook: I have a question. Can someone tell me if this is a better book than Stewart's calculus and if you suggest stewart's calculus can you please provide me with a link or describe the picture of the book or w/e.

Reviewbooks: I heard Barrons, and Princeton Review. Since there is so much confusion with princeton review of what you cannot tell for ab or bc, is there any other book that will be straightforward?

AP PHYSICS

Textbook: Fundamentals of Physics 7th Edition and Physics for Scientists and Engineers 6th Edition which is by Serway and Jewett. Please tell me if this is a good book or not. I heard it was really good.

ReviewBook: Straight up Princeton Review. Question: Is this PR book confusing like the PR book for calc since calc has ab and bc and physics has b and c? Can anyone answer that?

So far thats all I have from the posts. Can someone please expand on the other AP's or give me other suggestions for the AP's already mentioned.
